Over 6 weeks, participants will explore self-taping, callbacks, casting dynamics, online platforms, and the business of casting, leaving with actionable insights and strategies to succeed in the entertainment industry.\nAbout the Instructors\nWith over 75 feature films, television pilots and series collectively; Danielle Aufiero and Amber Horn won a 2023 Emmy for their casting work on Apple TV’s BEST FOOT FORWARD and a 2021 Emmy for Netflix’s THE HEALING POWERS OF DUDE, 2021 & 2022 Artios Awards for their work on Netflix’s THE BABY-SITTERS’ CLUB, and a 2020 Artios Award for Disney Channel’s ANDI MACK. They were also honored with a Media Access Award this year for promoting awareness of the disability community through casting. Other notable series Aufiero & Horn have cast include ON MY BLOCK (Netflix), THE 100 (The CW), THE OA (S2, Netflix), MOTHERLAND: FORT SALEM (Freeform), 13 REASONS WHY (S4, Netflix), AWKWARD (MTV) and the ZOMBIES movie trilogy (Disney+).
