Development/Creative Intern 2021—2022
Andie Schlenker began her journey at The Academy as an intern in 2021. Drawing on her background in accounting and arts administration, she aspired to carve her path in the film industry. With our support, she transitioned into roles she desired, such as the production office. Now, as our bookkeeper, she not only manages finances but also plays a pivotal role in guiding current interns on their path to success.
Matt Sacca

Development Intern, 2018
Matt Sacca began as a Development Intern in 2018 at The Academy at American High. His passion for storytelling and hard work quickly elevated him to become one of our top script readers. Today, Matt leads American High’s Development department and oversees incoming scripts. He also mentors future filmmakers as the Head of Internships for The Academy.
