Cuban-American, NYC-based cinematographer Maria Rusche is joining us for a deep dive into visual storytelling. Starting as a gaffer and lighting technician, Maria’s background has shaped their approach to cinematography and collaboration on set. Known for their work on Shiva Baby, Bottoms, and the Showtime series Couples Therapy, Maria will break down the techniques behind capturing impactful imagery, working with directors and crew, and translating a script into a compelling visual story across both independent films and TV productions.
